Directions to Clear Lake-White Pass Camp

 

Please Note: The camp is located at the White Pass Ski Resort on Hwy. 12. It is not located in Yakima!

 

From Seattle, Everett, & Bellingham

         

1.     Take I-5 South or 405 South

2.     Get on the 405 at Southcenter (Tukwila)

3.     At Renton take 169 for Maple Valley/Black Diamond heading towards Enumclaw

4.     At Enumclaw get on the 410 towards Mt. Rainier, Crystal Mountain and Yakima

5.     At the intersection of Chinook Pass (Yakima) and Cayuse Pass (Portland)…follow the signs for Portland (Hwy-123). DO NOT TAKE THE CHINOOK PASS HIGHWAY TOWARDS YAKIMA.

6.     Stay on Hwy-123 through Mt. Rainier until you exit onto Hwy-12

7.     Turn left on Hwy-12 (towards Yakima), White Pass Ski Lodge is 10 miles up the hill on Hwy-12

 

Driving time from Seattle to White Pass is about 2.5 hours

 

From Tacoma

 

1.     Take Hwy-410 to Buckley or Hwy-164 to Enumclaw

2.     At Enumclaw get on the 410 towards Mt. Rainier, Crystal Mountain and Yakima

3.     At the intersection of Chinook Pass (Yakima) and Cayuse Pass (Portland)…follow the signs for Portland (Hwy-123).  DO NOT TAKE THE CHINOOK PASS HIGHWAY TOWARDS YAKIMA.

4.     Stay on Hwy-123 through Mt. Rainier until you exit onto Hwy-12

5.     Turn left on Hwy-12 (towards Yakima), White Pass Ski Lodge is 10 miles up the hill on Hwy-12

 

Driving time from Tacoma to White Pass is about 2.0 hours

 

From Olympia

 

1.     Go South on I-5

2.     Go East on Hwy-12 at Mary’s Corner (South of Chehalis)

3.     Stay on Hwy-12 to White Pass

 

Driving time from Olympia to White Pass is about 2.15 hours

 

From Eastern Washington

 

1.     Take I-90 to Ellensburg

2.     Take I-82 South towards Yakima

3.     Upon entering Yakima take Hwy-12 towards Naches

4.     Stay on Hwy-12 to White Pass

 

Driving time from Yakima to White Pass is about 1.0 hour

Driving time from Ellensburg to White Pass is just under 2 hours

Driving time from Spokane to White Pass is about 5 hours

 

Please check with Washington DOT for the status of mountain pass roads. Frequently, roads are closed for repair during summer months. In addition, please use ‘Google Maps’ to locate the ‘White Pass Ski Resort’ for your individual driving directions.
