Yakima Herald Republic Notes (April 1): Twelve high school track teams will vie the team title in the first annual Don Holder Invitational Relays Friday at Zaepfel Stadium. Named in honor of the longtime Eisenhower track coach, all events will be run as relays. Field events will begin at 2 p.m. and the running events at 3 p.m. Favored Richland heads the AAA entries, with Kennewick, Kamiakin, Wenatchee, Davis and host Eisenhower filling out the Big 9 League. From the Mid-Villey AA will be Ellensburg, Wapato, Sunnyside, West valley and Selah, with East Valley the only Valley A League entry.
